the real me

I've got a story to tell. So just scroll down n read.

First and foremost I need to clear certain things off my mind. Like for example, how I care to sacrifice my time n risked being scolded by dad, just to help a student with his school's assignment that actually made me 20 dollars richer.

Let me elaborate. His mom called me to ask for a favor that required me to sit in front of the computer with a click of the mouse that got me looking for pictures pertaining the topic on geography. Yes that simple. A simple job even my primary 3 sister could do. So there I was searching high and low for very good quality and related to the topic pictures thus making a file cover page out of them. Take note that his mom is not home yet and the clock was set at 950pm at that moment.

Actually he did the cover page the day before but to his dismay, his mom dislikes it as she claims that it is too childish for a 13 year old like him. But as for me, I find it had a rather boyish touch to it. I was kind of afraid that I might come up with an idea that could be too girlish for a boy like him. I managed to complete it as soon as she came back. Sadly, she didn't like my work and asked me to make several changes to it. So there I was struggling with the on-screen keyboard (cause his keyboard had some problems) trying to make a masterpiece out of it. After a few amendments made, she finally liked the whole presentation.

The whole point was, it questioned upon me that the mom cares so much about how his work looks like instead of him.

When I was done with the cover page, I had to correct his Malay essay in which I thought wasn't done wholeheartedly as I knew he could write a better one. Then I had to head back home since its already 1150pm at that time.

Unfortunately, it rained. I was devastated. I called home hoping for anyone of them to come down to fetch me, be it dad, mom or sister. Adding on, the short journey back home is kind of eerie and silent especially after 11pm. Thus it will be good to have a company walking home with you, right? I had to wait for a mere 20 minutes for dad to fetch me. Waiting wasn't exactly good cause I still had to cross over without shelter to meet him. Come to think of it, I should have continued walking in the rain. That’s so much for not wanting to get wet. Hmph!

Currently, im sitting on my bed with my lappie on as his mom gave me another assignment that is to type out 2 poems with his illegible handwriting. Wtf!

The highlight of the day was that I had a good time with the penyamuns at ECP's MacD. Thank you the both of you plus Aida too. (=

Whenever it rains, you pollute my mind. Will that ever stop, I wonder.
